About Diana
Diana had been curious about energy healing for many years, and had received it in various forms, before she started her journey to becoming a healer. She completed a course in hands on healing with Delcia McNeil in 1994 when she experienced the feeling that she was in the right place and doing something that was right for her. Other life events intervened and she put the healing quest on hold for a few years before discovering Reiki in 2005. She found it to be the most powerful healing she had ever received and was motivated to complete Reiki I and II in 2005 with Zoe Martlew. She was surprised at how accessible Reiki is and how many positive changes it brought to her life as well as healing her body. She has been giving treatments since then, and in April 2008 she completed her Master/Teachers Degree with Sandra Ditta Hermann.
Diana has always been interested in working with people in a helpful or therapeutic way, and in a way which empowers them. She completed the Foundation Course in Counselling Skills at Spectrum, London in 1992 and their One Year Psychotherapy course in 1993 and she brings the communication skills and insight developed through these courses to her work as a Reiki practitioner and teacher. She has a teaching qualification and teaches ceramics and life skills in addition to Reiki.
Diana is a Member of the UK Reiki Federation. Her Reiki lineage is through William Lee Rand, a Usui/Tibetan style of Reiki which is a combination of Japanese and Western methods. Contact Diana if you would like full details of her Reiki lineage.
